Our Rules

1. Be anonymous.
No full names, addresses, telephone numbers, or other identifying information allowed.

2. Don't be offensive.
We do not allow any racist, sexist, or otherwise offensive or defaming language on this site. Sexually explicit language is also forbidden.

3. Treat other Open Diary members with respect.
Insulting or derogatory statements directed at other diarists are not allowed.

Before continuing with the registration process, you may want to take a moment to read The Rules that all members of Open Diary agree to live by (at least in this place).

Choose a user name
Select a name that will identify you to the readers on the site. Remember, Open Diary is anonymous, so no real names, please. Your name may be up to twenty characters long.

Choose a password
Your password must be at least eight characters, and can be up to thirty characters. The password is case-sensitive, so pay attention to lower and uppercase, please!

Watch the password strength indicator below to judge whether your password is strong enough. For a stronger password, please follow these guidelines:

Use a combination of letters and numbers in your password, and also a combination of lower and uppercase letters.
Do not use your name or the name of a relative, pet, friend, partner, etc. for your password.
Do not use your user name or anything like it for your password.
Do not use a word that can be found in a dictionary for your password - there are easy ways to break this.
